Good morning all!
I'm just putting together a list of topics that we are going to discuss in the meeting. If you guys have anything to add to this, please do. Remember that there will be a period where an open call for comments/questions/suggestions will occur, so if you forget something until then, no worries. I will post the official agenda sometime later tonight or tomorrow morning, complete with the rule list and chat instructions.
It's tomorrow (July 24) at 9 PM CST.
I'm not exactly sure what chat we're using yet, but I'm leaning toward using IRC. This means you'd have to download an IRC client if you don't already have one (mIRC is the most popular for Windows, still deciding what I'm going to use for my Mac though). I will also put an applet up so there can just be a page you can go to and chat in the case you don't want to download anything.
BUT I might just use something else. Let me know how you guys feel about using IRC, or if you have any other suggestions.
Okay, agenda. I promise the official one will be organized and more... official-like, but I'm just thinking of these as they pop into my head.
REMEMBER, guys, if you are not in attendance at this meeting you won't get to vote on stuff. Since we have no By-Laws, we have no established membership system or quorom yet, so even if there is three people at the meeting, decisions will still be made yet, and they might not be to your liking.... *trying to convince people to come*
1) Board of Directors nominations - I will nominate one more BOD member here. Then I will call these to a vote.
2) Feedback - Here I'm going to ask for other communities feedback to SEE, both positive and negative. This won't be a place to rant and rave or argue, but I want you guys who have posted SEE in other communities to REPORT, not discuss feedback from SEE.
3) Petition Revision - We will discuss our current plan to revise the current petition to ask for LGBTQ characters and suggest K/S amongst others. Prepare anything you have to say about this here. We will then call it to an official vote.
4) Newsletter - We need to get cracking on the newsletter. Bring any ideas you have to the table here.
5) Constitution/By-Laws - If there's any discussion to be had on these subjects, here is where it will happen. We need to have these soon.
6) Merchandising/Fundraising/Donations - Any ideas about these subjects go here. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come up with some ideas so we can get cracking on the money issue... because we'll need it at some point. O_o
7) Site Issues - If you're having any issues with the site, or have any suggestions, bring it up here.
8) Viral Videos - We'll discuss the videos here. I need 4-5 good solid ideas for "Feauturette" type smaller viral videos, and then we'll have the big video. I'll also present to you anything we may or may not have here, and any news.
9) Women's Rights - I'll let the people over in the women's rights section take over here. This is where you can discuss all issues about the Women's portion.

This is what I have right now. Any suggestions, put them here.
Also, we'll have a presentation of the letters to LGBT groups and actors as written by tinuelena. I'll probably have her present them here.

Also, a bit of news. Kurry is going to be the one drafting the revision to the petition, as well as drafting the women's petition.
Lindz is going to be our official video editor, and is coming up with some mock-up type stuff right now. My brother is going to do any and all filming. We're currently looking into getting his friend who's a local TV news journalist to do the speaking. This is after careful consideration of wanting to protect my anonymity (for now).
