Translators! Go!

Okay, now that the English version of the site is up, it's time to start spreading it further into more languages. If you signed up to be a translator, what are you waiting for? The first thing that needs to be translated is the Petition. I want to have all the versions of the petition up as necessary. After that, the content of the site is next. You don't have to translate the blog or it's entries (but DO try and translate the essays if possible - remember! I'm going to keep adding essays).

Remember to translate all the text that is on the menus and such as well... and don't forget the legal statement! Thanks everyone! Translating time.

Also, if anyone is interested in translating that hasn't got in touch with me, do so now. AND. If you're interested in blogging in a language other than english, let me know as well. Thanks!

I think I said I was interested in the Spanish translation...though I'm sure there are people on this site whose Spanish grammar is better than mine...maybe there should be a separate thread for the Spanish translation where we can all compare notes and work collaboratively?

PS. I * love * translating things...wheeeee. I'll start this afternoon, even though I was planning on watching some episodes of TOS. Oh well.

Okay, so I'm not excellent at Spanish (even though it is my native language! >< blame the parents) but I could definitely look over some grammar things if we did want to work collaboratively. I'd do my best, and I could always ask my parents (very incognito-like).

Yeah, I'm working on it now (I did sit around and watch TOS this afternoon...yay lazy me)...I'm working on the petition...I'm actually not a native speaker, but have studied Spanish forever and have spent a considerable amount of time in Spanish speaking countries. So maybe you could help me with some colloquial stuff that I'll inevitably get wrong. Once I have a rough translation I'll start a thread and then anybody can get in on the action.

I'm already 1/4 of the way through the Vulcan translation of the petition. I just need to look up some more words and put them in the right order.

I have some other things done, but nothing major. I'll send it to you when I've got something substantial.

And I'll get in touch with my French contact and tell him to get a move on if you haven't already.

Already started and e-mailed it to Lance, DAzebras >;-3! I'm having the Momos proofread part of it for me if they have time... But I'm working on the petition. I have all the links translated and the Note: message though... Working on the actual thing in itself though... so it might be a little while... I just want it to be perfect... maybe I can find an excuse to use the imperfect subjunctive! xD
